Answer a few questions

Once you choose your condition, we’ll ask you to fill out an intake form. These forms will vary by your clinic and condition. Once you’ve completed the intake form, you can go ahead with your day. A specialist will review your information and a care coordinator will follow up by secure message with any questions.

Get personalized recommendations and unlimited messaging

Your Specialist will provide you with a plan. If that includes tests or prescriptions, you can take your recommendation into a physician near you. Feel free to send any questions you have to your specialist throughout your program as you carry out the recommendation. 

How does it work?
It’s easy. Just choose an online clinic and fill out an intake form—no need to pick up the phone or have a video call. In some cases, you may need to upload a few pictures of the affected area. 
Can my Specialist send my plan to my primary care provider?
Yes. To share your plan with your primary care provider, just message your specialist and they will give you the document to give to your primary care provider.

 A licensed specialist will review your information and message you with a recommendation that can include things like tests, prescriptions and behavioral recommendations. After you get your plan, you can message your specialist with follow-up questions at no additional cost.
How much does it cost?
Each online clinic sets its own prices, and prices vary for each recommendation. To compare prices, visit the page for the plan you’re interested in. The cost of medication isn’t included in your visit.
How do I choose an online clinic?
To compare prices, response times, and services offered, visit the condition page for the recommendation you’re interested in and look for the comparison chart.
Can I use my health insurance to pay for the visit?
Specialistmd doesn’t accept health insurance at this time. Instead, you pay a flat fee for the care you receive. You can pay with your FSA or HSA debit card, or submit your receipt to your insurer for reimbursement.
